Lindsay and TJ Erhardt live in Kitale, Kenya with their 3 little ones. Their passion is to see their amazing Kenyan friends be empowered to sustain their own lives and families. Right now, Lindsay and TJ work with 8 single mothers in one of the poorest towns in Kenya. They call their work "JUA" which means "hope" and "sunshine" in Swahili.
These moms are meeting together as a cooperative to learn new skills and life lessons and to share life together. They are also making beautiful items to be sold to support them.
They need our help!
If we buy each mom 4 chickens, we can decrease their grocery budget by $3 a week! Chickens cost $6. That's 8 moms x 4 chickens ($6) = $192
They also need sewing machines to help them start their own businesses. Each sewing machine is $80 and they need 3 = $240
For as little as $432 we can help change the lives of 8 women and help bring HOPE!
